Instagram Competition
Bloor’s annual Battle of the Garden competition is back! Another year and another chance to be a coveted Bloor Instagram homeowner winner and walk away with one of 3 x £150 B&Q vouchers!
This year, we have a prize for 3 new categories!
1) The Edible and Potted Garden – The pantry garden filled with herbs, vegetable patches, edible borders, fruit plants or delightful potted blooms.
2) The Wildlife Garden – Think Bug hotels, composters, hedgehog highways, wildflowers and water butts, your garden brings all the bugs to your yard.
3) The Entertaining Garden – Gardens dedicated to enjoyment and relaxation, from lazy spas, alfresco dining spaces, pergolas or BBQ’s.

Then here’s how to enter the competition:
All you need to do is post a picture or reel to showcase the best of your garden on Instagram using the hashtag #BloorGardenInspo.
You can enter as many times as you wish. The competition will run for 8 weeks through May and June. At the end of June, we will be selecting a shortlist for each of the categories listed above. This will consist of a shortlist of 3 homeowner garden entries per category, we will then post a reel of each for the public vote on Instagram. The homeowner with the most votes will win.
- This competition is open to UK Bloor Homes residents only and you must be 18 years or older to enter.
- The competition is closed to employees of Bloor Homes and their close relatives, and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation.
- Automated or bulk entries from third parties will be disqualified.
- Homeowners can enter multiple times with different images or reels.
- The entry must contain the hashtag #BloorGardenInspo and must have been posted during the competition period.
- The competition will run for 8 weeks starting on 1st May 2022 and ending on 26th June 2023 at midnight. The winners will be announced by w/e 30th June 2023.
- The entries will be short listed by category and the winners chosen by the Instagram audience who will vote for their favourites in the post comments over 24 hours.
- The winners will be informed of their win by direct message via @BloorHomes on Instagram and will be asked to provide contact details for their prize. The winner might also be contacted by the Bloor Homes PR team.
- By entering the competition, you are giving Bloor Homes permission to use your images/reels across their social media and off-line marketing materials.
- The shortlist for each category will be chosen by Bloor Homes Marketing Dept based on merits within each category.
- The winners will be chosen from the short list, by the Instagram audience votes.
- The prizes are 3 x £150 B&Q gardening vouchers.
- The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for any cash alternatives in whole or in part.

Facebook Competition
As the warmer months approach, it’s time to start thinking about getting your garden in tip top condition ready for summer. If you have a tip to share for transforming a new build garden into the perfect outdoor living space, then you could win a £150 B&Q voucher.

Entering our gardening competition is quick and easy, just share with us your top tip or tips for transforming a new build garden into the perfect outdoor living space in the comments section of our pinned competition post on Facebook. Feeling inspired with lots of tips? Multiple entries are allowed so go ahead and share all your hacks and knowledge in the comment section!
The competition opens on Mon 1st May and runs until midnight on Mon 29th May. The top tip with the most votes wins and will be announced on the 30th of May.
