A NEW YEAR – TIME TO GET MOVING

Hilltop Park, Wiltshire

2022 has officially arrived, and now that the dust has settled on the festive celebrations, some of us may be feeling a bit of the January Blues.

But there’s much more to January than sales and general dreariness – did you know it can be one of the best months for house hunting?

A fresh start to house hunting

Last year Rightmove reported that January 2021 was the busiest ever, with a 44% increase in traffic compared to the same period last year, with the busiest day being Saturday 30th January.

So, while in the past it may not have been a popular time to move in the Winter months, this new trend doesn’t seem to show signs of changing. We predict January to be big for house hunting, which is why it’s important to get ahead of the curve as both buyers and sellers start to think about the year ahead and are keen to get the ball rolling.
